Welcome to the website of

Stefani Milovanska-Farrington!

Dear Visitor,

Thank you for visiting my website!

My name is Stefani Milovanska-Farrington. I obtained my PhD in economics from the University of South Florida in 2018, and currently teach Microeconomics at the University of Tampa.

I am the creator of "Choice: Economics materials for success" (on Substack and workbooks in Amazon Kindle and paperback formats). These are worksheets with questions based on current news articles and real-world examples of economic concepts appropriate for Principles of Economics courses. I currently work on this project in collaboration with the Foundation for Economic Education

My research interests include Labor, Family, Health and Education economics. I have won a number of mathematical contests, and have published articles in academic journals including the Journal for Economic Educators, Economics and Human Biology, Education Economics, Journal of Family and Economic Issues, Journal of Economics and Finance, Journal of Economics Studies, Studies in Microeconomics, Research in Economics, and others. I am a CSWEP liaison for the UT, joined the IZA network as a Research Affiliate in 2021, serve on the AEF Teaching Fellows Committee, and am an AEF Director. In addition, I received the Dean's Researcher of the Year Award from the Sykes College of Business at the University of Tampa in 2022.

Although I have spent time conducting research, my passion has always been teaching. I am the author of “Microeconomics: The Science of Choice,” a book designed for Principles of Microeconomics classes. I have also led teaching trainings, have delivered a number of presentations, and have experience in creating educational resources for MRU and FEE.

My CV, publications and contact information are available on this website.

Thank you for your interest once again!

Stefani Milovanska-Farrington, Ph.D.
